What this website does not do

bcked.com sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, loads no third-party scripts or fonts and stores nothing in your browser's storage.

Hosting

The website (bcked.com) and the API it loads its data from (api.bcked.com) are hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to GitHub's servers, including your IP address, the requested page, the time and your browser's user agent. GitHub uses this data to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure, and stores it in server logs. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA. GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR). Details: GitHub Privacy Statement.

Contact by email

If you write an email, your address and message are used only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and are deleted when they are no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply. Emails to contact@bcked.com are stored with Microsoft (Outlook.com).

GitHub issues and pull requests

Corrections and token requests are handled on GitHub. What you post there is public and is processed by GitHub under its own terms and privacy statement.

Links to other websites

The website links to social media profiles (X/Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, GitHub) and to the sources of the data. These are plain links. No data is sent to these services until you click a link. Their own privacy policies then apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Write to contact@bcked.com.

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for the controller: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
